THE NEED The Goal of Image-Thinking is to up-grade our National Awareness by empowering Visual Literacy. Empowering Visual Literacy involves the simple, yet profound processes of seeing, drawing and visualization: By SEEING we know and develop language. By DRAWING (pictures, charts, graphs) we plan and document what we see By VISUALIZING we can control how we think.
THIS WEB-SITE WILL GIVE YOU THE TOOLS NECESSARY TO USE VISUAL LITERACY: TO HELP A DISTRESSED CHILD TO MOTIVATE AN UNDERACHIEVER TO RELAX RUN-AWAY THOUGHTS AND TO ENJOY THE BEAUTY THAT IS ALL AROUND US
Visual Literacy gives VOICE to the whole range of visual and auditory cognition. Image-Thinking takes visual literacy from being esoteric to user-friendly.

THE NEED: The educational system has many different and difficult situations. Due to changes in our culture, technology, increases in autism and learning problems; the system is being overwhelmed.
THE PROBLEM: People process information in different ways. Instead of using the strength of graphic information for the learner's benefit, pictures and graphic organizers are viewed as adaptations.
THE SOLUTION: Visual Literacy can help those who process information Visually first; to learn, succeed and excel. It also enhances the learning of verbal thinkers. Visual literacy is a whole-brain approach to education.
